Will there be an English dub included?
So, I'm a huge fan of KonoSuba, especially of the English dub (personally, I find it more entertaining hearing Aqua's English VA whining and being useless (like always ;P) as opposed to her Japanese VA [no offense to Sora Amamiya, of course]). And I couldn't help but wonder... since this game is finally getting localized official, is there a chance we'll see an English dub for the VN with the original cast from the anime (IE: Arnie Pantoja [Kazuma], Faye Mata [Aqua], Erica Mendez [Megumin], Cristina Vee [Darkness], Kayli Mills [Yunyun], Brianna Knickerbocker [Wiz] etc...)?

If that happens, that would only give me more reasons to wanna buy the game, given I count the KonoSuba dub among my favourite animes to watch dubbed (Death Note, My Hero Academia, Black Lagoon, Chainsaw Man, Monster etc...)

1. Then learn to read faster.
and 2, that line about emotions being communicated is a load of poppycock. You have ears. You have eyes, you can understand the character's ticks and charisma as well as context, shifts in tone and ect. It is not that difficult to try to understand the humanity in a foreigner you can't talk to. Nor is it difficult to try to pick up on what he/she's trying to say when you're around them long enough.
I never said I wont play a game or watch a show without Dubs, but I aint paying $50 for that. If they want me to read and play at the same time I need a discount for my trouble. Otherwise there are literally thousands of other games on steam that are in my language.

Developers of foreign games have 2 choices. Discount it so low that people will buy it even without audio in their language or hire some voice actors in multiple language to unlock millions of customers willing to pay full price.
Games are priced by their precived quality as games or stories. Not by the language the characters speak. If you're so allergic to the stinky foreign language in your english-translated visual novel, then just turn off the voices...

That's a very sweet ideal, but the reality is that perceived quality has not the slightest bearing on how a game is priced.

ImmaDjinn wasn't talking about the language, but about the budget - which, believe it or not, is a factor in how a game is priced. And ImmaDjinn's problem is very explicitly the absence of English voice acting, not the presence of Japanese voice acting.

Personally, my jaw almost dropped when I saw the price of this game. A mobile-style visual novel without even English voice acting is something I would expect to be $30 tops, and indeed all the games I can think of fitting that description have been $20 or less. I'm keeping it on my wish list, but only in case it goes on sale for $10 or less. There are far too many enjoyable and reasonably priced games out there for me to blow $50 on something like this.
