I don't think it works with Steam Cloud. The game saves data outside of the normal Steam save area. On Windows, the save appears in your AppData folder. To quickly find it, type "explorer "%AppData%\Anodyne\Local Store\#SharedObjects\Anodyne.swf"". I don't know where the linux version resides however, but if you give me a moment to reboot, I will look for you.

Alright, on linux, it is at "/home/.appdata/Anodyne/Local\ Store/#SharedObjects/Anodyne.swf" You should be able to just copy/paste from your linux directory to your Windows directory.

Yes :) Found the save in that location and copyed to my laptop using a usb drive.
but it whould be nice to get the steam cloud system up and working.
Like to have my save on steam so I dont loose it if my system crashes or somthing happens :)

Doesn't work and will never work (sorry!) - something is wrong with the extension for Steamworks and I didn't write it (it's in C++ which I'm not familiar enough with...)

You could always cloud save using something like Dropbox, which works on both Windows and linux. Once you've made your free 5GB account, simply symlink your Windows save directory into Dropbox using a program called Junction. Junction is part of the Sysinternals Suite, which can be downloaded free of charge from Microsoft's site. In linux, the command is "ln". In any event, good luck. Personally, I run seperate save files per system. :-)
Never say never - Valve is working on auto-cloud feature (you can just define directories where it saves data and it will automagically sync), but it's still in beta and not recommended to be used. Waiting for it too for our game...

I managed to move the save file from windows to linux and it worked perfectly, but the other way around does not work now that I want to play this back on my windows machine :/
Has anyone else tried this? It is kind of frustrating...
