Failed to start ( error code 53 )

I run it on Windows 7 ( 64-bit ) . Anyone have the same experience?

This is a problem that occurs because you are propbably using two screens.
Follow these steps to launch the game properly:

1. Install the expansion Absolute Power (if you own it)
2. Download the Decompress config tool[www.techpowerup.com].

3. Open the tool and search with the button with the 3dots [...] through the folders for the config.lua file (steamapps\common\Tropico 3\config.lua)
Select the config.lua and click on Open with notepad.

Change config.IsFullscreen = 1 to --> config.IsFullscreen = 0
Save the txt file. Then Close the txt file.

4. Launch the game Tropico Absolute Power in steam. It will open up the game in windowed mode.

5. Go to options and change the resolution to your official screen resolution.
Apply and save the changes and close the game.

6. Repeat step 3 and set:

Change config.IsFullscreen = 0 to --> Change config.IsFullscreen = 1

Now you can run the game completly fine.

Easy fix. *INSTALL AND RUN THE STEAM SPECIAL EDITION BEFORE INSTALLING ABSOLUTE POWER*
