So the thing is that, just like in twin-stick shooters, you aim with your weapons, and projectiles fly in the direction you choose. At the same time, you will have a bunch of different guns, there will be a *bleep*-ton of enemies coming at ya, and the gameplay will revolve around creating your own build.
So, to answer your question, it's going to be a little bit of both.
I'm not against VS type games, although I think Steam is flooding with way too many carbon copy clones. Yet Another Zombie Survivors is one I'm looking forward to.
But I am always looking for more traditional twin stick shooters in terms of manually aiming/firing at the enemies, monsters etc. :)
Anyway, i've wishlisted. :)
I felt the same way. I was excited to try it out but after like 15 mins of playing I felt a disappointed. Do i really want another Vampire Survivor game. If this game can make it self unique maybe yes. Also comes down to price point too. Its not a knock on the game.
You can create autoaim builds but there are far too many manual aim abilities that I truly hope it doesnt happen. I struggle with keeping track of the mouse cursor and still dont want autoaim when aimable abilities and the strategies they create exist.
just to clarify there are autoaim abilities already present in the game and I am sure more to come.
