Now how would you Offset a weapon? i'll Explain, you need to 1st get both of them, then leave 1 of them in the Stash to the side so it's in active, when you next get a shop, you move the Stashed one back to being active, you NEED to make sure that you enter the shop while the 1 that is active is at half cooldown.
So a list of actions to make it clearer just in case:
- Get 1 Level 2 Candy Bomb and 2 Level 1 Candy Bombs.
- Buy 1 more Candy Bomb to for a second Level 2 candy Bomb
- More 1 of them to the Stash while still in the shop
- get another Shop to spawn, but don't rush in to it yet.
- Time you touching the shop for when the active candy Bomb is half way on Cooldown
- Now in the shop move the 2nd Candy bomb to the inventory
With this nothing aside from the boss or the mini bosses can even get close to you unless you move in to them, even then the Candy Bombs will stun them occasionally, so most of the time you still won't get hit even if you accidentally get in to melee range.
Things to keep in mind, you CAN NOT touch ANY Candy Machine Pick Ups, the ones that do the AoE, since this will stall the Cool downs as sync them up, so you would need another 2 shops to fix the sync.
Also DO not level it up to Level 3 EVER, this will do more damage, but you will not have 2 Waves of them anymore.
Outside of this just get what ever damage source you want, i prefer Targeted weapons for there good Direct target DPS, but the Candy Bombs should make it easy enough to use what ever you want on the level.
At the end, i finished lvl 16 and the rest of the game with literally a D/C/B Builds with maybe 1 or 2 S cards. Kinda funny ngl
