Tier list time
I don't know why i'm doing this to myself. Whatever. Don't expect the effort of graphics, everything will be referred to simply by name. Will be going through by rank. yes I referred to them the other way around in my other post. I don't care.
contractions - as = attack speed, s = seconds, d = damage. why am i contracting damage? coz i'm gonna write it a lot that's why.

Oh, and spoilers, obviously. If you haven't played the game yet, you should try finding stuff out and unlocking stuff yourself, it's more fun that way.

D Rank
Most of this stuff is early game only. You want to be selling this stuff by the time you start getting A, maybe even B rank
-------------------------------------------------
S tier
---------
Targeted bonus (increase targeted ability damage) - Assuming you're running at least 2+ targeted weapons, this is pretty much the only D rank ability you can use for the entire game. That speaks for itself.

A tier
---------
Blaster (3s as 50 d) - This fires a laser which hits a single target. However, if it doesn't hit anything, it will last for a few moments and follow your cursor, allowing you the chance to redirect and hit something. It has very high damage for a D rank weapon, increasing to 150 at level 3 (i think as goes down to 1s)

B tier
---------
Supreme shotgun (3s as 10d) and coin launcher (0.4s as, 5d) - because they both are targeted and shot type, allowing you all those buffs, as well as firing multiple projectiles, which is very useful at the start - even their low damage will kill stuff then.

Flashes (2s as 5d) - Bet you didn't expect to see this here. Wasn't sure whether to put this here or A tier, but decided on B because it falls off quicker than other weapons with its low attack range and damage. Despite this, if you pick this as your first weapon and run into hordes, it allows you to quickly get those first few levels.

C tier
---------
Eye launcher (1s as 10d) - high fire rate, reasonable damage, solid early pick.

Random nails (8s as 5d) - very slow fire rate, low damage, but fires several piercing projectiles. decent enough at the start.

Obedient zombie (3s as) - enough to kill the early stuff, but sell it off asap once you get b tier weapons. They will start dying instantly, effectively doing nothing but taking up an inventory slot.

D tier
---------
Pistol (1.5s as 5d) and random dart (1s as 5d) - not enough damage, not enough fire rate. Of course, they'll still kill stuff at the start, but replace them early, like C tier weapons early.

F tier
---------
Bonus Health (what it says on the tin) - I mean, technically you can keep it through the whole game. If you want a slot taken up for basically no reason. health increase is flat and small, even at the start of the game.

C rank
Some of this stuff (and by some I mean like 3-4 abilities) can be used the whole game. The rest you basically start selling when you get A tier abilities.
-------------------------------------------------
S tier
---------
Money Box (if on the active bar, can sell for 5 tokens at level 1, 16 tokens at level 2, and 50 tokens at level 3) - I've done the math, and it checks out. Each level you do indeed make more money than selling 3 of the previous, although only minimally. Anyway, although it can usually only be done early to mid game when you have at least one free slot, this allows you to earn extra money! Yay more money!

Dark side (2.1s as, 5d) - So, those stats look pretty bad. Except it's an infinitely piercing laser. And it's targeted. And it's darkness. So... with the darkness main menu upgrade giving +150% darkness damage, the targeted bonus ability and the dual wielding ability, you have four infinitely piercing lasers with very respectable damage.

A tier
---------
Scytherang (2s as, 5d) - piercing boomerang with targeted. What's not to like?

B tier
---------
Bonus bonus (more bonuses (the health, speed, etc pickups)) - now, this is indeed taking up a slot for a bit of an insubstantial bonus. It does give a decent increase in healing and invincibility time, though.

Assault rifle (0.25s as, 5d) - fast firing weapon. targeted and shot.

Flammable concoction (fire weapons do dot) - obviously, this is only good if you've got a few fire weapons in your deck. The fire weapons are pretty good, and this makes them better. Decent.

C tier
---------
Watermelon launcher (5s as, 5d) - slow, but does basically pierce, so it's not terrible.

Homing loogie (1s as, 20d) - decent speed and damage, but the only synergy for it is A rank, by which time you should sell this weapon.

Armor (armor) - gives armor. Did I mention the armor? Helpful, but doesn't make a huge difference. Fine to decrease damage taken for a while, but replace it with something better after a couple ranks.

Skeleton gun (1s as, 15d) - If you don't have the darkness upgrades, objectively worse than the homing loogie. If you do, it's not bad.

Tiny slime (3s as) - good to buy if you've just unlocked c rank abilities in the shop, but isn't sustainable past mid game.

D tier
---------
Tiny spring (0.6s as, 5d) - just kinda randomly fires springs? They never seem to do much.

Ice square (4s as, 10d) - infrequent, middling damage satellites that orbit too far from the player to hit much. Meh.

B rank
Not a lot special here, really. mid game stuff.
-------------------------------------------------
S tier
---------
Dual wielding (targeted abilities fire in multiple directions) - instantly makes all your targeted weapons 2, then 3, then 4 times better. if you're running targeted weapons, run this.

A tier
---------
Candy bomb (1s as, 15d) - Surprisingly good, really. Doesn't have any synergies, but it just fires a whole bunch of projectiles. Probably won't last 'til end game, but will keep you safe for a good while.

B tier
---------
Shotgun (3s as, 10d) - is a shotgun. Shot and targeted. Fires a bunch of projectiles. Decent, with the appropriate buffs of course.

Skeleton shotgun (0.9s as, 7d) - the shotgun, but with skeletons. Darkness and targeted. quite good, with the darkness upgrades.

All-around defense (5d) - satellites affected by both fire & darkness upgrades and the fire buff. rotate fairly closely around the player, so hit a good amount of the crowd.

Nailgun (0.4s as, 10d) - piercing, targeted weapon. reasons for being good self-explanatory.

Bananarang (3s as, 15d) - piercing boomerang, targeted. Nice.

Supreme gun (0.1s as, 10d) - very fast fire rate.

C tier
---------
Rocket launcher (2s as, 5d) - AOE fire targeted weapon. If you have both targeted and fire buffs can be decent, but has fairly low damage.

Penetration (shot abilities get limited pierce) - only 2 shot weapons from B-S rank, so it'll basically only be useful if you have both. Get it to maybe level 2, then definitely focus on getting shotgun to lvl 3 first.

F tier
---------
Slime minion (4s as) - it will die very quickly, will not help you much.

Healthy fat (food abilities give you health) - Bonus health but it's harder to get the bonuses!

A Rank
Now we get to the juicy stuff
-------------------------------------------------
S tier
---------
Needle shotgun (2s as, 15d) - infinite piercing targeted shotgun that increases in damage the more it pierces. Very nice.

Fire beam (3.5s as, 5d) - massive targeted fire laser. maybe a tad low damage but it hits so many enemies and sets them on fire (if you have that buff) that it's worth.

A tier
---------
Nuggets of darkness (4s as, 10d) - fire darkness, fires a bunch of projectiles, is nice.

Caliperang (2s as, 20d) - targeted boomerang. Simple, effective.

B tier
---------
Electric shot (1.5s as, 15d) - targeted, decent speed and damage

Meteorite satellites (0.37s as, 15d) - satellites at good distance with decent damage

D tier
---------
Siberian Plague (0.5s as, 5d) - sullies the name of homing abilities. Slows, but that doesn't excuse the tiny damage id does with each singular shot.

AOE bonus (increase AOE damage) - a decent buff, but for what weapons? rocket launcher? Won't do much.

F tier
---------
Homing bonus (increases homing damage) - seeing as the last decent homing weapon was C rank, this is useless.

Budgeting (gives tokens per level per finance ability in inventory) - ah yes, I too like to sacrifice an inventory slot in endgame to get me slightly more money. Very slightly, considering the highest rank budgeting weapon is B.

S rank
Rare and dangerous. I would recommend taking at most 3 of these abilities, you won't be able to find them frequently enough to get them at a good level otherwise
-------------------------------------------------
S tier
---------
Disco (0.8s as, 10d) - lots of fast firing lasers

Super scytherang (1s as, 20d) - targeted darkness boomerang, need I say more.

A tier
---------
Random slimes (0.8s as, 20d) - like candy shot but better

Cold snap (2s as, 15d) - fires out 6 projectiles, fairly fast, fairly damaging, honestly not going to be your main weapon but alright support

B tier
---------
Olive gun (0.2s as, 20d) - Good, but only really if you have dual wielding and penetration, and then to make penetration worth it should probably have shotgun as well...

D tier
---------
Triangle of darkness (20d) - triangle satellites. Flies out way too far to do reliable damage. No synergies.

Blast wave (AOE abilities do knockback) - What're you gonna use this with? one B rank rocket launcher? It's only in D because it's fun if you do manage to get to endgame with a couple AOE weapons, and does help a little.

F tier
---------
Winter is coming (ice abilities cause freeze) - no ice ability hits enough enemies to cause this to have any noticeable effect.

Obedient doc (4s as) - Summons are not endgame viable. Will die way too quickly and not do enough damage, even with both summon buffs.

Summoned creature damage (summoned creature damage) - summons are not endgame viable.

This matches my experience. Stacking +target damage and dual wield is very powerful.

Alas, my summons are not endgame viable yet :( I believe it is due to their low HP.

Reasonnably good tier list even if I disagree on a couple points. It also depends on what slime your using.
The +1 pierc slime on homing is by far the best slime. Making any homing build a killing machine. If you have the darkness damage upgrade and take the S tier "Powerful and well guided" projectile (which is not listed in your tier list btw), with the +400% homing from A tier, you get a 1k damage projectile every 0.1s with 1 pierc which is absolutely crazy.

I also disagree heavily on the Supreme gun. When you get it and have Improved Targetting level 3 and Dual weilding 2, you clear the entire screen easy with one gun. It's at least A tier if not S tier. It's the perfect transition between mid to late game.

Olive gun is also S tier, with +3 pierc C tier, dual wield and Improved targetting it hits like a truck with 0.1 firerate at level 3.

this was written during the demo, and alot has changed since then. would basically need to rewrite the whole thing which i'm not thinking of doing currently. it's still a somewhat roughly accurate guideline though.
