1. The story/characters were fine, and I liked how you get the true ending.
2. It's kind of novel for mixing survival horror with turn-based combat.
3. Progression is nice as you unlock new melee/ranged weapons to experiment with, some from optional side quests.
The mobile version's $7.99, but:
1. It's a short JRPG: you can find two English YouTube playthroughs where it's 4 or 6 hours and 50+ minutes, without skipping the optional Ch. 13 Motel and Ch. 14 Disco Club that amounts to at least half an hour.
2. It also felt too easy where I didn't need to use ammo much or serums to heal. Then they also shower you in those resources after combat. For example, my mobile clear save has 162 handgun ammo, 114 revolver ammo, 69 shotgun ammo, and 205 serums, because:
The Steam/console version's $14.99, but has:
1. Keyboard/controller support.
2. A score counter that's recorded upon clear data.
3. New Hard & Nightmare difficulties.*
4. An increased level cap from 30 to 40.
*You do have to restart the game from the beginning to change your difficulty, but can now get some replay value out of it while also being challenged hopefully, assuming they adjust things like scarcer ammo/serum, more damage dealt/taken, more enemy HP, and/or more enemy density.
