The Latest Update I can't start game getting errors

I get two popups with the following error messages:
First pop up is
Serialization Error: Action Needed
Corrupt data found, please verify your installation.

and second popup is

The UE-Kagure_Survivors Game has crashed and will...
Fatal error!

I did that before posting First I tried doing an integrity file check, then i uninstalled and reinstalled the game. i even cleaned registry for ♥♥♥♥♥ and giggles before reinstalling. I'm still getting same error messages.

I realized that a bunch of folders were left when i uninstalled it and deleted them myself. so when i reinstalled the second time it worked fine for me.

Get the newest version of the patch and run it, it fixed it for me

also having issues. tried reinstalling patch, reinstalling game, reinstalling both, got nadda for results

I am also having this issue. It ran with resolution issues which I wasn't too annoyed with in the first hour of gameplay. After exiting and downloading "that" patch for the game, I got the same error messages when I tried to boot the game up. I tried to verify integrity and even reinstalled the game directly from Steam to no avail. The patch is from the official page, too. Anybody got a fix?

No problem for me. Uninstall and delete ALL files from your PC. Then install again. Launch without patch first.

...and then, that being done, how do you get the PATCH to work? I did what you said and the game ran fine. So I went and reinstalled the patch and it killed it again.

I'm not playing without the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ patch. So is the game just broken for now?

Have you installed new patch or that old one? New patch works for me.
And... this patch is just bullshi.t. Man, it changes few pixels in the menu. Nothing in the game. Play now, if you enjoy the game. You will collect the "gallery" and maybe in next update, when everything will work fine, you will see that moveing pixels.

I found that if i uninstall the game. Then delete the folder it was installed in, getting rid of any left over files that was left over from the uninstallation. Then reinstalling the game. will allow you to play the game just fine.
