And most mmorpg's is grind. Now i have to say that i took a break myself from BDO and currently playing Mount&Blade II: Bannerlord alot, which is just totally something else.
By the way, there is also a mobile version of BDO called black desert mobile (bdm)
Anyways, I was searching for an MMORPG... that is Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game... not Mobile Turn Base Combat Game... Even Itch IO indie games made by 1 guy in a few months are better than this game... Why? Its also hentai, turn based combat... But the key thing is that its 3 bucks a game and with some bigger ones it can go up to 10 bucks a game and you dont need to spend 300 hours grinding for a few cinematics/poses/pictures or throw 2K real money at the game to get everything in a few hours... We are lucky that China made the new game regulations and I expect (not just me, hundereds of thousands of people do expect the same thing) that all the other games are going to follow to limit in game purchases that give you advantage against other players or boost benefits to skip real play time...
IDK why we have hundereds of thousands of game studios that make crappy games... why cant we have lets say 5 game studios per genre, they could compete against each other to improve, be way bigger and then players would not be scattered all over the place...
You see, im talking about this... 20K players play WoW, 400K players play BDO, 4.5M Players play FF14 (including me now), and all the other MMO's that struggle more than WoW right now also have players that could have been a part of something better if everyone joined forces... why do you think that car companies share their engines/platfroms for cars all over the place... Dodge shares with Renault, Renault shares with Nissan, Toyota shares with BMW and Subaru, Porsche, Skoda, VW, Bugatti, these 4 share all parts in between and now even Lamborghini... And if game companies did the same thing like 1 would be making characters, another one animations, another one voiced dialogues and story and so on, you could have 1 single game that would be 300 GB and would had 1000+ hours of content for story and end game would be even better and people would have fun... This is what I cannot believe...
Sooo This game aint an MMORPG... MMORPG is not a turn based game... Its an open world game where you can meet players, do dungeons and quests and whatnot and its all free to do at any time you want... This game is oldschool mobile RPG cashgrab...
