Interaction with NPCs
On some occasions, the game let you imagine that you may have more interactions with some NPCs, according to your choices or events. Since i have not finished the game (i solved the ripper's mystery and investigated the Brotherhood in my most advanced game), i would like to know if i can expect more from some chars :

- John Paul : the Troll you have the opportunity to kill or let go when starting with Jake Armitage.
I let him go : shall i meet him again, eventually friend /hire him as merc ?

- Coyote : after being saved, she says that she will allways be there if i need a helping hand. 4 or 5 missions later, there is no opportunity to team her prior to recruit official mercs. Will she ever party with me ?

- Advanced mercs. Same, early in the game you meet that guy ("i allways forget names") at the Steamstress (sic) Union. He says he can provide you with high-end guys, but same as for Coyote, time goes by and he never offfers me the opportunity to hire his men.

patch notes seem to say that not being able to hire coyote was recently fixed and as for the advanced mercs you get them from the same place as the rest you just gotta find the tab for them on the hiring screen

the dude who offerend to RENT his shadowrunner from the nephelim network are all hybrids and they suck, you better stick with shadowrunner from the first tab since they're pure, i mean only 1 class. and yes, you will get coyotte back later in the game

OK, TY for answers.

Nothing about John-paul ?

For John Paul, I never let him go but I assume you never see him again, it is just a roleplay choice. For John Bartlett and the Nephilim Network, when you get the opportunity to hire shadowrunners there are 2 tabs at the top. One for Fixer Contacts, and the other for Nephilim Network. Coyote will join on some early missions automatically (specifically the BTL lab raid she contacts you about), but after that she needs to be hired like any other runner. She is however much cheaper than others and her skills are among the best.

Brian from HBS wrote that the editor allows you to create interactions with NPCs and also introduce a relationship system. As I am still trying to get my grip on the basics with the editor, I can't say how well it works.
As for the DMS campaign, there is very little NPC interaction. We may see more PC-NPC interaction in the Berlin DLC hopefully.

Levi doesn't suck. He is probably the best combat NPC in the game. But the rest is kind of hit and miss. Since regular runners are randomized, the Nephilim network can provide a better option, especially when you are looking for mixed talent to fill some gaps.
