She has so much cyberware that her spells are on an incredibally long cool down, but she's got so many skill points into willpower and spellpower that she's not as good as some of the others who speciallized.
One thing I've noticed that Nephilim hires are not always the best hired. There's one or two I like, but the rest are meh..
Took me ages to finish the hospital quest with her in the team
Why were you even attempting to even shoot with her?
Shannon? I had no problem with her, hit nearly every time she fired. She fired because she didn't always have situationally beneficial spells. *shrugs*
I've never hired anyone off the Nephilim Network. I went through my entire first run with whatever character the story told me to have, plus a Troll named Full Monte. He was a badass. :D I'm also really selective of who I hire, though. Have to have a name I can comfortably say, a bit of text I like, etc. Basically, if I wouldn't enjoy a conversation with them, I don't want to hire them. So there are usually only two or three I can hire. It's cool, though; I'm making burritos and have completely forgotten the point. Mmm, burritos...
I didn't have a problem with her either but shooting is not a priority action for her to take :D It was all about using her haste every time and slow if available and shooting only if nothing else to do.
Also not everyone on Nephilim Network is worth hiring for the most part so not surprised you didn't hire anyone from there. Generally everyone on the Neph network is "multi classed" so to speak anyway in either different roles or different skillsets where as the Fixer contacts will generally be a little more focused in where they put their skills. Say a combat runner might have points in shotguns from the Fixer contact list but a Neph combat runner might have same amount of points in shotguns and rifles. There was one decent Neph Network runner that i used for cheap and that was the dual Decker+Rigger guy. Good rigging and decking skills but crappy aim, he did come with an S class drone though so it didn't matter. The Weapons Master guy was fairly good too just for diverse firepower lategame.
I was underwhelmed by the Nephilim Network selection.
But in her favor, she's cheaper than most runners. So there's that.
I didn't have many problems with her pistol, but I hardly had to use it either. They give you enough summon tokens and random world spirits to summon that you can basically just use her as a spirit-bot and buff-caster for all the fights.
I want the ability to remove them between missions or in user generated content and can't see controls to do it in either situation.
