Telestrian Industries safe?
I can't seem to open it, and this has to be one of the most annoying sequences due to the forced delay on any action you do... help?

same problem here damn Painting Puzzle help ??

Huh? What's the problem? Can't find the sequence or glitch? You just have to push three of the five paintings in sequence to open the door, then grab the cigarette and Bob's your uncle.

the sequence is the problem

Did you pay attention to the conversation right before the puzzle?

There are hints throughout the level, but I could see them slipping notice. It is a puzzle developed by the new security guy, who is very strict on holding to the three values of Telestrian industries. Like with a couple of other puzzles, they give you two of the three values, and you have to deduce/guess the third. Duty and Vigilence are given to you, Duty being first and Vigilence third. So guess the second.

Also, two of the values don't make any sense for a company so you can eliminate them right away. So, since you know the first and the last values from the conversation, you should be able to figure out what goes in the middle.

Wellllllllll, the clues are all there, and even if you didn't catch them, just try a bit, it's not a long sequence so reloading it once or twice won't hurt ;)

Thanks all, I was hoping it wasn't a bug... will keep trying :)

I can't even get to that part. Half way through a hallway with turrets my game just locks up. It happened twice in nearly the same place. I try to execute an action, the game just sorta stays there indefinatly. and I have to manually close it. the auto save function kind of sucks for such a situation.

Mentioned in another thread, but I had the same problem.
Spoiler:

You click on the pictures in the order of the 3 rules of telestrian corporate values. when you speak to people on the floor they give you hints. Even the security guy gives you a hint right before you start the puzzle. In order to open the chest you need something with DNA on it. Maybe that half smoked cigar has some dna on it

could you give the answer instad of playing with my nerves ?
Panthera Leo Jul 31, 2013 @ 9:50am
The game doesn't punish you exactly for just clicking each in turn. Sure there is a timer, but the check point is you entering the floor so there isn't much lost if you don't catch it right the first time.

Spoiler:

The far right, second from the right, the far left. If I recall correctly.

They actually give you all 3 if you are paying attention.

The answer is duty, efficiency, vigilance, then you need to examine the safe, then take the half smoked cigar and use it on the safe.

Far right, second from the right, then far left. Why in a thread asking for the answer is there posts stating that the game gives you clues. Of course it does. No one posted a question asking wether or not the game provided clues to it's own puzzles.
