Err.... how do I go into the matrix as a decker
Im like 4 hours in and the opportunity hasnt even come up once. I have the second deck 4 programs and tones of skills but don't know how to activate any of it

You need an access port. If you've made it to the basement of the Seamstresses Union, there are two jacks in one of the back rooms (where the deecker vendor normally sits).

Its possible that you need to be at a certain point in the game, before you actually are allowed to enter the matrix itself

The first time i was able to get in to the matrix was in "Coyote's Crusade". This is well before a mission in the Unions basement that acts like a Martix tutorial.
