How do equip "spells" as an adept?
So I've upgraded my Chi Casting to three and should have "Killer Hands", "Magic Resistance 1" and "Mana Fist/Chi Focus" but in Combat I can only use "Killer Hands"
What do I have to do to use the other ones as well? I noticed that in my character window I only see Killer Hands as equipped but I do not see how to equip my other powers as well.
Can anybody help pls?

Same problem here (sorry I can't help, but can let you know it's not just you at least). Put my first karma into chi. Had the third ability usable during the 'prologue' mission but now it's gone completely. I can't equip it from shop either so it's not a matter of only having one spell slot or something.
Worried this may be a bug that requires a complete restart with not buying spells with the initial karma.... would rather find out soon than later!

There's a set up up/down arrows to the left of the current weapon icon - use those to move through your weapon types. Cllick on the yellow buttons to the right to set attack type. And on the left bottom of the screen is a set of buttons to use utility spells and other items

You have to buy them from vendors.

Huh... so karma only unlocks the ability to use them when bought? I really wish they told you that somewhere, it's been driving me nuts. Thanks for the info.

it says when purchase the ability that it allows you to only be able to equip the spell. It doesn't give you the spell itself

yea , you start with no spells as a mage so i assume its same with adepts. Bit confusing as you expec to start with spells.

Okay, I found the vendor where to buy the powers :)
I guess they could've done a better job with the tooltips. Seems to be quite some confusion about that (and the spells for mages as well)
If anybody is reading this in 2022 or beyond, I had the same issue. The normal character screen that you can see during non-combat situations doesn't allow you to swap out your chi casting abilities. I had just gotten the armor cybernetic mod and watched my essence drop and lost my 4th chi slot.

OP's reply that getting new chi casting spells requires you to hit up the vendor first is perfectly accurate, but you still can't swap equipped chi casting abilities.

So when you leave the bar and "take a cab to [wherever]" the next screen should present you with a loadout selection that WILL let you swap your chi casting abilities in and out.

Worry not. You have the spell. You just need to drop off the mana punch or whatever to actually use it.
