Avatar Appearance Question
So I'm one of those people those backers that put in a sum of money and have a character that looks like me in the game. I'm wondering if there is a mod that will allow me to use that NPCs appearance for my in game character?

And yeah, my profile pic is the one they used for my likeness in the game.

Yup, if the mod creator checked import char, you may use your own char, provided that your picture is in the player's head choice

==> after checking, your portrait is not included in the player humain portraits, so if you want to play with "your" face, you should use a tool to add it.

On the other hand, your char apparently do exist in the Deadman Switch, as your picture is listed in the editor as :

backer_humanmale_randynickel_snick

So, i can't remember him, but you should be in the game as Randy Nickel.

If your real name is Randy Nickel, then you are in trouble as all the bad girls around will rush to your house

lol...now that's the kind of trouble I like. :)

Not sure what that means though and how I find me (backer_humanmale_randynickel_snick) to use as a character. Is there a wiki or tutorial you can point me at?

There was an UGC to add custom portraits, but i could not find it back in Steam Workshop...

I don't want to just change the portrait though, I actually want to change the look of the character to the one for whatever NPC they stuck me on. Oh well...I'll live if there isn't a way to do it.

Its actually pretty easy to do without the aid of the Editor.

Go to this folder on your computer:
Steam/SteamApps/Common/Shadowrun Returns /Shadowrun_Data/StreamingAssets/ContentPacks/Seattle/art/portraits

In there you'll find your portrait (backer_humanmale_randynickel_snick) as well as all the other portraits, including player ones. Find a player portrait in that folder you'd like to replace and just swap file names between that and your picture.

That simple. :)
