Dragonfall DLC?

I bought this in a sale quite a while ago and never got round to playing it. I'm sure I remember Dragonfall as having been DLC for this game, and I thought I had bought that as well. Only now it looks like Dragonfall is only available separately, and I don't seem to own any DLC.

Was it ever released as DLC? Did I ever own it? Wondering if I should buy it separately while it's on sale now. I heard it was a better entry point to the series...

The DLC was removed and replaced with the improved standalone version. They both cost the same.

So if I don't own the standalone one now I never owned the DLC to start with?

Correct. Everyone who owned the DLC automatically got the standalone director's cut. If you don't have Dragonfall in your library, you never owned the DLC.

Goto the steam settings and click on view account details. It should give you an accurate list of licenses purchased or activated on Steam.

To clarify a bit here, there are in fact two versions of Shadowrun: Dragonfall. One is actually a discontinued DLC just called Shadowrun: Dragonfall, this version requires the ownership of Shadowrun Returns. The other is called Shadowrun: Dragonfall - Director's Cut which is treated as a separate game without the need to own Shadowrun Returns to play.

Shadowrun: Dragonfall - Director's Cut is actually an improved enhanced version of the original Shadowrun: Dragonfall. Owners who previously already own the original DLC version of Shadowrun: Dragonfall had Shadowrun: Dragonfall - Director's Cut automatically added to their Steam library, so it's very much the same thing as purchasing Shadowrun: Dragonfall - Director's Cut since those who own Shadowrun: Dragonfall DLC did paid for it, thus it was not a free DLC given to Shadowrun Returns owners.
