Report a translation problem
Did everyone who's having this send in a bug report? Just to make sure the devs know about it, since it seems several of us have experienced this problem.
This sounds like an issue that was caused by the 1.2.4 patch, and fixed in the 1.2.5 patch. You still may be experiencing it if you have a save file from the 1.2.4 patch, to have the fix applied to your save file please Restart the level you are in or Rewind back to prior to the start of the mission, presumably to the last Seamstress Union visit. After this you should be able to play the game as normal.
If you are unable to resolve your issue please let us know.
I already sent the required bug report dump files to your support address, so hopefully when you guys pick through those it might shed some light on things.
Restarting the level does not fix it. My last not autosave-savegame is from two days ago. I don't want to re-play everything from that point again. Please fix the bug, I want to continue to play that great game!
Playing on Mac OS X Mavericks, Intel Iris Graphics, 8 GB RAM.
EDIT: Ah, found the "rewind" feature. Unequipping the drone worked!
I think it might have to do with the level design, and not so much a fault in the game engine. If you try to quicksave when this bug happens, the game will tell you that you can't do that during an NPC turn, almost like there's an NPC moving, interrupting player control, like in battle or cutscenes.
I "fixed" it with this ugly little hack;
Run the editor. Open ..\steamapps\common\Shadowrun Returns\Shadowrun_Data\StreamingAssets\ContentPacks\dead_man_switch\project.cpack.bytes
Open the universal brotherhood scene.
Open scene properties, Hiring tab.
Check 'Show Equip Screen at Map Start'
Save over the original map.
Open the game
Load an earlier save and re-enter the map.
Now, i tried changing many other things as well, but I think this was what finally got it working.
To me it was even worse though since I have one spell on my Rigger and that is that Killer fists spell (dont ask why I bought it) and when ever I would enter the Universal Brotherhood building my character would start slowly walking up and after a while stop and kill himself by spamming the killer fists spell (since you lose life if you use a spell while its CD is still up)... killer fists indeed!!
