Does this game have co-op/multiplayer?
My friend and I are looking to play through a game campaign together. Is this game good for that?

No. It's a single-player RPG. You might want to consider Shadowrun Online though.

Although I personally don't like MMOs (never bought one), Shadowrun Online's description of their long-term gameplay plan in conjunction with my obsession/addiction with both cyberpunk and Shadowrun Returns makes me rethink my long held bias.

SRO might be the first and only MMO I'll support and buy. God, I pray for Shadowrun's success and longevity. BTW I meant that metaphorically, chummers.

SRO is in alpha-stage at this moment (meaning not even up to a beta it's like the beta of a beta right now, but it MAY fit the bill for what you're looking for when the co-op is added in. As others have said though, SRR is strictly SP.
