5) Yes, you can find the codes in one of the computers close to the main office of Stahl. You need decking 4 if I remember correctly.
1) I am pretty sure that the stat maxes are regardless of Stims or Clothing. I believe the engine restricts the stats so that you cannot get beyond your racial maximum, no matter what.
2) Yes. All Shamans must have a totem. If you want magic without a totem, you must play a Mage. Be aware that Mages can still dabble in Conjuring (for spells like haste, etc) if they have high enough Charisma and Karma to buy the Conjuring skill.
3) Not sure. I've poke around a bit regarding Shadowrun, but I've never read anything about there being some 'approved Canon' storyline. My assumption is that whatever is in the tabletop books would be Canon, and if other materials (3rd party books, games, etc) contradict the source material, then they aren't canon-compatible. I could be mistaken, though.
Dragonfall:
1) Not that I was able to accomplish.
2) Sounds a little too easter-eggy to me, I am doubtful. The lounge stuff seemed like a form of 'dark-side temptation' where you could do these bad things for a quick reward. It didn't strike me as the Lounge being willing to provide anything more than quick cash.
3) It probably means that the fog of war has concealed enemies that spawned already, but have yet to notice your team, so they are not hostile, yet.
4) No way in that I have found.
5) Parallaxe answered above. Not sure you need decking (you might), but bring Blitz on the run anyhow just to be safe.
DMS:
1) My best guess: Shane was likely executed by Universal Brotherhood cultists, but was never considered a suitable host. Chances are, they were planning to use his body as food, but the runners arrive bfore that happens.
1) You can't go past max racial stats in SRR (yet?)
2) There are more "classes" in the Shadowrun universe than Hermetic Mages and Shamans. All of them have their specific rules and ways. If you play pen and paper you can create whatever magic user you DM allows.
My lore is a bit outdated (2nd edition), but I don't think there are any Shamans without Totems. The only way I know of for a Shaman to change his Totem is by accepting an Insect Totem. Not a good idea.
3) I don't think so, but on the other hand, he didn't really do anything lore changing iirc. There is UGC that lets you replay the SNES storyline. Don't know how good it is though. Haven't played it yet.
Dragonfall:
3) You need a remote. You can get one from Apex or in the manor lab itself. Iirc it is in the safe in the tiny room to the right at the begining of the map. You can order two drones to blow up and collapse that wall. It can be buggy and you may want to save before you try. Sometimes the wall doesn't collapse.
The letter by his body says that "Shane could not accept the truth"". He most likely died while trying to escape.
Thanks, I should have paid more attention to them.
General:
1) Thanks, poor trolls, lol.
3) Well, I just thought it was funny that in SNES game he battled a dragon, and in SRR was afraid of gangers, lol.
Dragonfall:
2) Not sure myself, I guess next time, I'll try to find, if it exists.
3) I dunno, at first I thought it was a bug. I mean those turrets, those are not working without apex, maybe it was their turn.
General:
2) Thanks, that is what I was asking. So Insect Spirit is powerful enough to replace other totems? I guess previous totems aren't pleased with that, lol.
There was a letter by his body? Drek, probably missed it, I remember only his ID badge.
- you can not raise your skill over your racial max attribute stat, even if you have a bonus to it. In your case that means that your Troll decker can have an int of 7, but never raise his decking skill above 6.
- a bonus to a maxed out stat is only possible, if there is "room" for it. This means that if you play a human or elf, you can increase stats like body or strength over 9 (because those attributes go up to 15+ thanks to some races.) But others can't be increased over 9, because no race in the game can achieve a higher value than that.
There has recently be a reference to Jake Armitage in a SR book (Splintered State). Although that is more of an easter egg for people who know the Snes game.
I wouldn't really say that the events in the game are Canon as they are never referenced and they too closely mirror other canon events (the Snes game copied heavily from existing SR lore).
By the way, battling a dragon is normally not something a lone human, or a small group of humans are able to do without surprise and/or a lot more powerful equipment than what Jake uses.
