Not enough ammo for The Hunt Begins level

So... I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong...
Did I miss somewhere where it told me how to reload a weapon?
Each Aegis gun has 2 shots in it, but it takes 3 shots to kill an Insect Spirit. Even if I have taken the 3rd guy with the gun like all the walkthroughs tell me to, there is no way to kill all 5+ Insects on this level.

What am I doing wrong? How do I complete this level

Click on the weapon and it will spend an action to reload, unless it's a pistol and you have enough points for reloads to be free.

Heh, yes. The game without reloading would be... difficult.

You have infinite reloads available for all firearms, provided that you have the action points to reload. The only things that are limited are other inventory consumables -- grenades, medkits, drone repair kits, shaman fetishes, that sort of thing.

'R' is the corresponding keyboard shortcut.

I'm actually impressed you made it through the entire game without reloading.

With certain builds I'd be reloading every TURN.

I'm a bit surprised too...
but I'm playing on easy so I guess that's just how easy it is.
