Shadowrun Returns

Shadowrun Returns

PC or Android?
Seriously considering Android version as I recently bought myself a Mad Catz MOJO which means I can play Android games, as well as PC games, on my TV. My thoughts are since its cheaper on Android perhaps I should get it since I can play it on my phone and MOJO and still on my PC with Android emulators such as Droid4X. Any thoughst on this? does the Android version finally have community content? are there any set backs vs PC? cheers.

For me its easier to use a mouse and keyboard and I've never had the pc version crash on me. The android vesions crashed on a few too many occasions for me to say they are the same as PC.

Have you tried an android emulator with it? also, you sure its not your phone thats causing such an issue? some can't handle those type of games as well as we'd like.

Well I don't play it on my phone I have a Shield tablet so specs were not a problem plus I don't think UGC works with the Android copys.

If you don't mind jaggie hell, go for it. The mobile version's a pretty faithful port of the game, I have it myself. The interface design feels like it can play equally well on touch or mouse. That said, the PC version can get MSAA, forced SSGGAA (Nvidia) or MLAA (AMD), and of course have perfect compatibliity with the mouse and no emulation quirks, so there's that.

I'd honestly just recommend the PC version since it's only $3 on Humble Store right now, and $10 for the triple pack (including Hong Kong).

I would recommend PC version too, it has mod support.

Nice, thanks for the link.
Now I'm trying to decide if I want the triple pack or the Humble Bundle which includes Hong Kong lol. I hear that Shadowrun Returns isn't as good as the others anyway? Thinking I might buy Dragonfall seperate as that one appeals to me more with Hong Kong from Humble Bundle.

Of course Returns is not as good as the others. It is the first part. Still is the story awesome and worth the money.

Well thing is there are other titles in the bundle that I want too lol so kinda stuck for choice ^_^; Besides, I could always buy it another time or whatever.

Story wise, you'll want them all. Just don't do what I did and buy Dragonfall twice :conwayfacepalm:

The discount for Triple Pack is enough that I'd just get them both, especially for Victor Vran and Homeworld.
I'm interested in Homeworld, but I also want Evoland 2 and Stronghold Crusader 2 which makes it worth it imo but honestly I don't want two copies when I can buy the other two titles seperate cheaper than the triple pack.

Well, in that case go for it. I just took the extra copies to nag a friend until he gives it a shot, but if it's cheaper that way, by all means go for it!

That, and wait until buying Dragonfall until you're sure that it didn't come with Hong Kong. I'm not sure myself.
