Wheel settings/button assignment reset when I restart the game
I have a Fanatec GT2, latest drivers. Wheel settings won't save even though I back out of the menu and see a saving icon.

Hey guys, if you can please report the issue at the official forums[forum.projectcarsgame.com] do a search first to ensure there's no other reports of the same issue, post your computer specs or add them to your signature so we can know them and help you in a better way.

Do you guys have 29hz or something obscure like this set under graphics?
The profile might not save then and the controller settings are also in there.
SunBro May 8, 2015 @ 12:16pm
No i do not. I tried admin, i tried deleting profile and restarting but uuuhhh... nope. So i've basically tried everything. This is now officially a bug in my eyes.

Came here to say the same thing.
fanatec gt3 v2, csr elite pedals, win8.1 x64
i have to recalibrate steering and pedals, reconfig buttons, and reset gear settings everytime i want to play.

Any solutions?

I solved it. You have to stay on whatever default wheel it thinks you have. I have a gt2 but it thinks I have a 911 turbo wheel. I just keep it on 911 and it saves.
SunBro May 9, 2015 @ 12:05am
Well, how do you know which wheel the game thinks you're on? maybe the game thinks i'm on driving force pro so it doesn't save for dfgt. BUT, how will i know whether the game thinks i'm on dfpro or not? Maybe it thinks i'm on a g27? Hmmm...
Corrie May 9, 2015 @ 12:31pm
Just open the controls option menu and you'll see a big picture of the wheel and it should say the name of the wheel it thinks you're using.

That doesn't apply to me then. Because the game correctly detects my wheel as "logitech driving force gt seperate pedals" but still doesn't save. Oh well, the wait for bugfix goes on.

Please visit our official forums[forum.projectcarsgame.com] in order to get help in getting your wheel to work.

I do. But i think i am also free to write about it here. Believe me i'm visiting the official forums more than this forum but people here have the right to know too.

Hi, posted it on official forum but I do here too : After downloaded and installed the 64bits logitech gaming soft, my G25 is OK and no lost of saved config after restarting the game, so it seems to be a driver issue
