Fanatec Porsche 911 GT3 RS V2 Not working right
I have the Porsche 911 GT3 RS V2 with the CSR pedals connected. I setup them up in game and calibrated the wheel without any problem. The game instantly recognized the wheel. I completed my first race without any problem. For the second race, the wheel and pedals will randomly stop accepting any input, so the car will just drift straight forward and crash. After a few seconds, the wheel will start working again. I cannot complete any other race, because the wheel keeps on freezing up.

What am I doing wrong? Do I need to downgrade my drivers/firmware? I'm running 64bit v205 with firmware 756.

Do you have the wheel connected to a USB 3.0 port or a hub ?

USB 3.0 port on the back of my computer. Is that the problem, I need to connect to a 2.0 port?

We've noticed some cases where the USB 3.0 would cause some issues with controllers, also according to Fanatec website:

Some PCs show USB connection issues after being updated to Windows 8.1.

Our research and the feedback from our customers shows that this is caused the forced USB power save functions of the lastest Windows update. Please check the following article to resolve the issue:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2900614

On some other systems a similar issue is caused by the USB controller driver which is installed by Windows 8.1. If the solution explained in the MS KB article does not help we recommend to install the Windows 8(.1) driver from your mainboard/system vendor to resolve the issue.

They also mention that some of these issues should be fixed with the latest drivers, which you have. But i cannot see any other reason for this to be happening, the wheel is compatible and used by many of our WMD members.
