G27 Brake Pedal not responding
I was setting up my G27 wheel and tried to calibrate the pedals and the brake and clutch will not register.

I ran joy.cpl and all of my pedals are registering and I can play other racing games with the wheel so it isnt a hardware issue.

Also I have the combined pedals and when I chose that option the gas pedal would not work either. I had to select G27 separate just to get the gas to work.

Loaded up a game to see if it would work anyways and chose Spa, and of the that first long straight ended in a massive crash haha. Needless to say it didn't work.

I had to rekeybind the brake to a different axis in the configuration if anyone else is having a similar issue with a control.

Hey, look at right side at the screen that you select g27. It has a options to setup each buttom to an action.
I don't understand why in G27 preset the pedal break is not a pedal break. :(
But the nighmare is ahead. The forcefeedback sucks. You will have to spend some time to configure it. Patience, patience.

There will be tutorials on how to set up your wheel and ffb soon, our community is working on it and it will be available soon.
In the meanwhile here's some basic settings for you guys to try out:

The in-game values we recommend you to change are just the deadzones set to 0, adjust the Force Feedback to a value of your taste but ensure it's not clipping.

G27 pedals not recognized
I have the g27 plugged directly into my pc.

I am running the logitech profile software.

I do use XPadder to make the clutch my PTT for teamspeak and OBS for my stream, but I have tried closing the program before launching the game and the problem still persists.

In game I try to calibrate the pedal, the clutch is recognized, but the brake and accelerator pedals are completely unresponsive.

I do not have combined pedals set ANYWHERE in the software, and when trying to set the axis from within the game pressing the ACC pedal causes the game to register up arrow, similary the brke pedal cause it to show down arrow. also some of the buttons on the wheel will show that they are binding to their default keyboard counterparts when pressed.

This is VERY frustrating as I REALLY want to use this wheel for a good driving game.

Thank you for any help people can suggest no matter the information given within reason.

DEV's, I'm looking at you here!

The solution is to bind the pedals, go to Options > Controls > Edit Assignments, click over the pedals functions that do not function and when requested press the pedal.

So after 3 years of community development this game is not in any way configured to run the most popular wheel setup out there. I'm extremely disappointed to see how this game still feels like a beta at best as I had such high hopes..

Now I probably will have to spend the next few hours getting my wheel setup instead of actual racing :(

It seems to be system dependent, some users get it working right away, others are missing either the brake or throttle.

Even the steering wasn't working..

Yes that's what makes it so strange, if you check other reports here there's various different situations.

I have a g25 wheel and I cant get my brake peddle to work or calibrate properly.

Game is broken. May need to see about a refund.

Could these optimal settings be added to the game so that when a G27 wheel is plugged in, the best configuration is automatically applied? (Pedals and buttons mapped correctly, etc).

In all honesty, it's been a HUGE pain trying to configure this wheel manually. I am still having trouble getting the pedals fully working (gas and break at least) despite mapping and calibrating them. I really just want to plug in the wheel and enjoy the game much like with Gran Turismo 6.

They are dj, but some users seem to be experiencing some various issues. Sometimes it's the brakes, others its the throttle and clutch, some none are detected.

@pyrate go into the options menu and instead of calibrating, go to keybinding first, then set up the pedals there

In my case, the breaks' axis was not even mapped correctly by default (I had to do it manually) but even after that (and running the pedal calibration again), it does not work in-game. The clutch is completely unusable (i.e. I can neither map it in the bindings nor use it in the calibration).

Maybe it's just not detecting the wheel properly?
