Stuck on Loading screen bug since 1.4

Since the 1.4 patch the game frequently wont load into a session.

The game loads into the main menu fine, but when continuing my career and trying to enter the next event the loading screen never ends.
The little circle spinner just goes round and round. Normally it only takes a few seconds to load but i have left it for a few mins and it doesnt load.

Only thing to do is Ctrl + Alt + Del and shut it down and try again.

Heads up: Got it working! I tried Verifying Game Cache through Steam and was still getting stuck at the loading screens. So I decided to uninstall it and redownload it. Works the second time! Not the ideal solution, but if you're dying to play, like I was, it's something to get you going. Hopefully the devs address the real issue soon. Have fun!

Sorry to hear redownloading it didn't work for you romeyride. I would still suggest people try redownloading the game. Redownloading worked for me.

Also be careful guys, the issue described on the OP is a case where the user enters the game and starts a race, when the loading begins it keeps displaying the icon rotating and does not move from that point.

If your case is a matter of game not launching then that's a different case.

Yeah it still happens to me, but restarting the game a few times it will eventually load into the race.

I have loaded in about 3 times in the last two weeks. Hopefully WMD will fix this soon as it feels like a massive waste of money at the moment

hi guy´s. i have had similar problems as all of you. i have tried everything. down clocking my CPU to normal and added more RAM to my computer. nothing worked.
i did not reinstall windows as some suggested. seemed like a stupid idea. i did how ever reinstall the game and when i started adding all patches i did it one at a time and after each pach i ran applypach.exe
and now i can play this game without any problem.

i haven´t tried any long races only races between 2 to 5 laps atm. and tomorrow im going to clock my CPU again and see what happens. if that works im gonna tweak the graphics and see how much my comp can handle

Graphics: AMD Radeon HD 7700 Series
RAM: 12GB
CPU: i5 2,66GHz i will clock it to 3GHz

There are no applypatch.exe's or actual patchfiles to download on steam. Also we can see you don't have it in your steam account. ;)

downloaded the patches separately

Well, maybe you should link it to Steam because as far as I am aware, it will not run without it....unless it's cracked of course.
