Poor performance, low fps

I have a 7950 gfx card i5 3750 cpu, 16 gigs of mem.
Most settings on low to medium, no motion blur, 1920 resolution, yet the game runs really poorly like 16-44 fps?
That in a practice session, when in a race its even lower, any ideas on what settings i should run at as surley it should be better then that ?

Reinstall and deselect after choosing clan install.

Reinstall Nvidia drivers. Select clean install and untick 3D drivers from the list.

You can just go to the Windows Control Panel, Add/Remove programs, scroll down until you find the ones saying 3D and remove them.

Uninstall all Nvidia drivers with Display Driver Uninstaller, reinstall, select clean install, and untick 3D drivers from the list.

DS2X = SSAA? wow, if youre running that on your eqipment & getting playable frames im def feeling good about pc optimization now. just get the cars right plz..

If i had to guess it could be that your GPU just can't cope with the game + a triple screen setup. Hows the fps with just 1 monitor for example and at what level of fidelity can you get to before having bad fps ?

Try to speak with TonyR @ the WMD forums, he and many others been using triple screens for a long time and havn't reported any major issues, at least not to the extent you describe. Maybe they can help.

Is pCars very demanding with the CPU? I have a amd fx 8150 and it bottlenecks my gtx 770 in some games. Maybe I need to upgrade?

Yes, its demanding. Don't do an upgrade yet, the game is still pre-alpha. What you have is probably fine.

Yes, with everything on high I'm always getting 60fps stable. But when i put more cars in the track or change to a raining day it really cuts my fps to half. As you said I will wait for the release to see if I need a upgrade.

the only thing that solved my problems was put at boot options "-skipcrowds" :)
