Oversteer control
I think I have some settings wrong somewhere, in certain cars I literally can not control oversteer at all, the G40 Junior I'm racing in career mode now as soon as the back steps out or someone nudges me going into a corner no matter how much opposite lock I apply it will not turn the wheel enough to correct the skid, is it because I'm using a controller XBox1 so I've basically just got to accept the handicap or can I change some settings, it's making this race series extremely difficult to even finish, let alone win.

It doesn't seem to be all cars that have this issue but it's really obvious on the Ginetta G40.

Having the same problem at the moment, using a xbox 360 controller, once it starts to spin you are heading for the wall with no chance of getting it back under control.
I lowered the rear tyre pressure and softened up the rear suspesion, and lowered the AI difficulty so I could take it easier in the race.

First reset your car tuning to default.
Go to the game guides for Pcars and try those Xbox controler settings.

If your car still oversteer, decrease the presure of the back tires first, before you go look for springs, sway bars.

Oh and please NEVER use 100% break presure, your wheels will lock up in a downshift, set it between 80-95%, depending the car you drive.

And note, set your driving aids to real. You then drive those cars with the real aids settings, if any.

Aka road cars have them all, cept for the caterham, and for racing cars only those in regulations.
