The developers are using CPU physX, no matter what card. Your extra card for physX is doing nothing but chewing electricity.
We had a mod post about it not long ago....

Jackwolfskin made an interesting comparison for physx with CPU and GPU in that thread. I wonder if any other nvidia users could try the same thing as a test?
