Keep in mind that while SMS is only slightly larger than most indie dev studios, this is an indie development project for all standard purposes. Only a distributor was added at the end of the project to help with physic box distributions and marketing.
They accomplished a lot with the resources they have over the time period, but this just shows game development is not easy. People cannot really wait for "perfect software" as it will never exist (and I've spent over 20 years in software development myself).
This is clearly OP's fault, since he forgot to put in a nickname. Go whine somewhere else.
I had the same Problem and did not realize to click on it, because I was looking for something like a "Start" Button, but there was none :-)
GTA expects to sell more copies. If GTA expected to sell less copies, it would be priced higher to cover development costs. It like the old saying, you can sell 1 million cups of lemonade for $1, or you can sell 1 cup of lemonade for $1 million dollars.
I didn't even know that was possible. I actually tried to remove that, and the game wouldn't let me, lol.
