Crash to desktop

my game keeps crashing to desktop randomly with no error after some races on one occasion its crashed just befor a race anyone else having similar issues. my specs are AMD Phenom II X4 955 R9 280 and 8GB 1600MHz RAM

Having the same issue here, it just started today. Im running a GTX 560, and an i5 2500k. So it's not exclusive to AMD cards.

I have been having the same problems. In addition I also have crashes when loading tracks. Everything started today.

That is happening to me quite a bit too, i will do two or three races no problem ( getting 60fp fairly consitently a few frame drops here or there) then i pause and it crashes, or it crashes going to the scoring screen

same here with i5, 8GB RAM, GTX 970 and win 8.1 64
newest drivers installed, game optimized with nvidia geforce experience.
crash to desktop every second -third race. thats no fun at all :(

One thing you all can check... If you have Logitec profiler installed. Uninstall it. It is causing most of those crashes. See if it works for you.

I too am getting crashes to desktop from yesterday. I'm guessing it is something that was introduced with the patch as I had no issues on launch day.

Also, anyone else find they have to close Steam.exe completely to shut the game down?

Don't have that installed. didnt even notice a patch though probably something in that causing the issue as i also had no problems on launch day

Same I keep crashing to desktop randomly, It's starting to get really annoying... I've tried searching the problem but doesn't look like anyone's got a fix for it! Tried different drivers but no luck.... Sad face :(

Closing Raptr helped as I haven't had a crash since.
