Which preset do you guys use for this old Wingman Formula GP, I only see newer racing wheel in the menu?
I´m also having trouble with the pedals, I can`t get both working with any of the Logitech presets. They work on some of the Thrustmaster ones, but still no luck with force feedback.
The biggest problem you will encounter is the 180 degree turning with this wheel, 90 left 90 right, so you'll need to calibrate it in game, I have this wheel as a backup/ loaner for when a frend comes over for LAN, it is SOOOOOOO better a feel than a controler but once you try a modern wheel you'll never wana go back.
When trying to calibrate the pedals I've been having major issues though, they just refuse to work, the one or the other always dominates or prevents the other form working (no brake, no accelerator, once I brake it becomes stuck and I can't accelerate again, stop-starting brake when trying to reverse, brake only brakes but doesn't actually reverse etc.). So I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong there.
The only way I've found to get them to work is actually not to calibrate ingame but to use the key assigment settings after having calibrated in Windows.
My only option for getting another wheel would be the Speedlink Drift O.Z wheel...should I do that or stick to this ancient wheel?
I can get the wheel and pedals to work without any trouble, either by using presets or custom wheel.
The Thrustmaster presets works best for just pedals and wheel. Right now I`m using Thrustmaster Ferrari F430 Force Feedback (Combined Pedals) for my WingMan.
It's mainly just tire feedback, so you'll feel when the tires are up on the track border or when the car is carrying to much speed and threatening to spin out. I think that's all this old wheel has to offer but it's all I really need, it's enough at least to give me a smoother more controlled driving experience than my XOne controller can even if that seems to have more FF effects.
