Very disappointed with the Force Feed Back
In others sims that i have installed (Iracing, AC, Stock Car Extreme, RaceRoom Experience, etc) my fanatec GT3RSv2 is fantastic.

In Project Cars i dont know what is going on but the Force Feed Back is TERRIBLE

- NO ROAD FEEL (Its like driving on the space)

- WEAK FFB (Its cranked at 100 but i can barely feel the impacts in the wall for example)

- STRANGE STIFFNESS(The wheel is to stiff for my kindness, its terrible)

- RIDICULOUS CENTERING SPRING

- This is so bad that i stop playing and now im comeback to RaceRoom Experience and Game Stock Car Extreme. The FFB on these titles are years ahead

Just because you can't handle the MANY options given to you to adjust your FFB, does not make it bad. They give you the tweaking options, use them.

Don't you think you've trolled enough tonight?
i ran straight into a wall and no FF for it what so ever this game sucks ass esp for the DK2

My FFB needed some tweeking in settings but actually works better than some other games I've played. Either you guys are setting it up incorrectly or your wheels are busted.

you have to adjust the force feedback in the tuning options for each car, either in your garage or in the pits during event. also struggled at the beginning, then i found this option.

Maybe because in almost decents sims i dont need to waste my time tweaking the settings in FFB. Because it is good just out of the box

ow cmon - i should not have to setup 300 sliders for every car in this game!
it seems they did not know how to do FFB right so they made it suck and gave a 1000 sliders for everyone to figure it out by himself

Hmm, this is a concern for me as I own a Fanatec GT3 and I don't wish to have that horrible strong centering spring action that makes the wheel feel like a cheap spring-loaded wheel or the horrible feedback on arcade games (arcade as in the sort you go to and put money in the slots to pay for a go).

Where can I find the settings for the Fanatec GT3 without having to mess around with dozens of settings to get a decent feel out of it- Assetto Corsa just feels perfect with minor tweaks and doesn't have that horrid centering-spring action.

road feel is the #1 complaint i have right now w/ the FFB (just using default right now)...overall i dont find the ffb problematic, but its far from ideal. by default it really does have (sorry to say this guys) that shift 2 surface feeling.

dunno if itll work like R3E where you can crank up vertical forces & youll get some but its worth a shot

This is not what I wanted to hear. Maybe I am too spoiled with the FFB from Assetto Corsa, but in that I can feel every aspect of the road, understeer, oversteer, the tyres flexing, the curbs, the slip angle- the lot. If Project Cars can't offer the same detailed FFB and has a `NFS:S2` feel to it, i'll pass on it as I will only buy it to use the Fanatec wheel. I thought the FFB had a massive overhaul, that's what people kept saying in the last few months anyway.

well before you get too put off keep in mind im using stock settings, there are like literally dozens of variables i havent even touched

Is there a center-spring setting? I really don't want the wheel to feel like it's being yanked to center out of my hand- that isn't what cars do in real life.

I haven't found the right settings yet for my G25. I don't have center-spring problem, but it just doesn't feel right, it's like I am driving and ffb feels fine, but if I let the gas go and I have 0 ffb, it breaks the immersion.

I don't know about Fanatec, but I have a G25 and Logitech has a configuration software for their wheels called Profiler, and in that software you can set the center spring.
If Fanatec has a similar software, check there.

I used the following advice from a forum and found good general results for a starting point that feel good, even without more advanced tweaking to dial a car in to be perfect.
....

I've settled on the following main FFB settings when playing Project CARS with my G27. These eliminate the FFB deadzone without going into oscillation and provide a good feel for both race and road cars.

Logitech Profiler settings:

1. Select default settings.
2. Set steering wheel angle to 900 degrees.
3. Set center spring to 0%.

Ingame settings:

1. Calibrate wheel and pedals.
2. Set FFB at 100.
3. Set Tyre Force at 140.
4. Set Deadzone Removal Range to 0.18

Note: when using FFB < 100% you must increase Deadzone Removal Range, since lowering FFB strength will increase the FFB deadzone. So my advice would be to keep FFB at 100%. I also tried forcing FFB to 125% in the LT Profiler. This eliminates deadzone too, but at the expense of linearity and clipping. Since the game only supports 100% maximum I decided to work within the confines of that parameter.
Note2: these are just the general settings, fine tune per car when desired as well. The settings are a good base to start from with any car though.
