As far as I know it only works in helmet mode. If it's still not working make sure your TrackIR drivers are up to date.

I could be wrong but you may need to enable "Shared Memory" in game.

its a bit chaotic using trackir. it works only in helmet mode, and even then it overwrites and loads an independent profile (regardless what settings you have in trackir sotware). movements are a bit crazy, you can go through the car by leaning sideways just a little bit or your view gets obstruct by drivers body when you turn your head. very hard to play with it...

I've been playing using TrackIR and find it just right for me, yes you have to use helmet cam, and if you go into the pits it switches back to cockpit cam and so you have to manually select helmet cam again after pitting (hope they fix this soon).

I play with the drivers body turned off, as I use a wheel to play and don't want a duplicate of the wheel and someones arms in my vision, so I haven't encountered Vadimus issue.

you need to bind a button in the *in game* controls to center track ir/oc rift. also in the camera settings, in the "movement" tab you can turn off depth of field and helmet so the helmet cam is effectively cockpit cam. you can also disable all the auto movement from the in game head turning.

I apologise for misinformation, I fixed the issues - tick the "exclusive" in trackir to keep settings. Where is the options to turn the body off?

Options > gameplay > on screen display & guides > wheel and driver on/off

Yep, they're right, helmet cam only, and you can turn off the helmet overlay in options if you don't like that view, then it looks like any other sim with TrackIR. So there is full TrackIR support if you throw the right switches.

Once you have that set up to your liking, press ctrl-k and use numpad + and - to adjust FOV. Then use the seat adjust keys to put your seat where you want it.

You have pretty much full control, you just have to initially set it all up the way that you want it.

Does anyone know if the fov can be adjusted and saved on a per car basis? I have set mine in the options menu which is fine, but just wondered if it could be done individually.

There are 2 keys you can bind for zoom in/out which adjusts the fov. It seems to change per car basis i believe. but you can also change them on the fly.

I have a great profile for trackir users, setup for single monitor. I'll put up a link for it in the official forums.
