in terms of complexity it probably has more in common w/ rf2 than any other sim, this in no way means it will feel, act/react, or drive like ISI tires.
OK sounds good, I forgot to ask about wet tires do they have tread? From some videos I've seen from earlier builds all the tires looked the same. Sorry about the silly questions. Edit: Oops never mind I found a video that shows wet tires
FFB however, out of the box, I enjoy pCARS more. rF2 takes me forever to get the FFB dialed in to my tastes depending on the car(just about all of them feel lifeless and dead around the center in rF2). Also I find the rF2 flat spotting effect is way to strong and over done. It feels like it's going to kill my wheel left at defaults.
Anyway, that's my take on the differences.
check this out http://isiforums.net/f/showthread.php/19034-Guide-Optimal-FFB-settings-for-rFactor-2-The-key-to-being-in-the-Zone-D
particularly the stuff about "steering torque minimum". it will put a min force on the wheel & negate or remove the deadzone.
it generally takes me only seconds to get FFB settings more or less dialed in to where it feels very good to me, but i also consider rf2's the best out there, diff ppl will have diff takes.
That whole out of the box experience ya know. ;-) I still use both rF2 and pCARS about equally though.
