is it still 32 cars for console and 64 cars max for pc?
i can remember some time ago there was a discussion about the amount of cars on a track, i did try and find it but no luck so i thought id make a new one just incase it got deleted or something.

whats the max amount of cars you can get on a track?
ive heard console versions will be different regarding this.

does it depend on track? depend on cars?

Consoles:
45 offline (depending on the grid size of the track)
16 online

PC, Win 32
56 offline (depending on the grid size of the track, Le Mans = 56)
16 online

PC, Win 64
56 offline (depending on the grid size of the track, Le Mans = 56)
32 online

And memory I suspect, hence the 64-bit PC version supporting 32 online.

how does the game recognise which version you have? i.e. 32 or 64...

is there 2 different exe's?

Yes 2 exes. x64 is default. I think it switches to x86 automatically if needed.
There also is a launch parameter to force either.
