Controller vibration for "feel" of handling
So, is there something wrong with my setup or does the game simply not support vibration for loss of grip or bumps in the road. I'm using an xbox 360 controller and it vibrates on shifts, braking, and crashes; but not for loss of grip/bumps in the road/general road feel.

This really ruins the game for me because its hard to truly understand how the car is reacting or responding to inputs or a lack of input. It's as if I were to take a car to a track and control it from home without any feedback on how the car responds, it makes the game more difficult than it should be.

I don't know of any other racing games that don't have this vibration for car feeling, so surely there is something wrong with my setup?

There is nothing wrong with your setup. The developers have spent a lot on Force Feedback and ignored those of us who have non-FFB wheels or, in your case, controllers. I have checked the config file but cannot find a way to increase the vibration.

I have a T500RS wheel and the FFB is pretty dull, even at 100%.

Thats just ridiculous, even games that only have a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ short driving portion within a non-racing game have vibration like they are supposed to, but Project cars left this out?

"Project CARS is the ultimate driver journey!"

Well, playing Pcars with a controller could be a bit dull in the first place, but now the same applly to ppl who play it with wheels, this new patch just ruin the ffb on my g27.

That's like saying a BMW is "The Ultimate Driving Machine" but only if you use Michelin tires...
The game is on Xbox One and PS4, the vast majority of console owners don't own a wheel so the fact that it isn't supported is ludicrous. Some people don't have the money or space for a wheel, and some people just prefer to use a controller regardless. So, you're telling me that my preference is "wrong"?

I agree this is a fun simcade racer that spans multible platforms, all controllers should be attended to equally. Quite honestly the FFB for wheels isn't all that good either, for me its my only real gripe. Hopefully with time it will improve.

Yeah, at launch the controller was horrible at speed, you'd be trying to make small corrections at 100+ and youd be lucky if you didnt spin out, I think it has been lessened a bit since an update or maybe I've gotten used to it.

Either way, with the controller it is kinda broken for me because of the vibration, it just absolutely destroys my ability to judge speed and control; which sucks because I've been following this game for a while, preordered it, and went through the wait of multiple release dates and I can't really play it.

I use a Thrustmaster458 GT Cockpit which use an Xbox 360 settings. The vibration is there in PCars with all FFB settings set to max but even so, the vibration is very weak. On Assetto Corsa however, I have to turn it down or I can't hold the wheel! Problem therefore is that there is no actual 'vibration' slider in Pcars. I also installed the Xinput driver; made no difference whatsoever.
