Race tracks removed

Title says it all,
Just a little confused as to why so many tracks from early builds were removed from final product..

Either licensing issue or not time to update them to pCARS standards. SMS has a huge library of material created for other projects. Most of the tracks removed were pulled from that library mainly for testing.

The oval tracks were never completely finished. They will be back with an Oval DLC (there needs to be some physics updates to properly support oval racing). The vintage tracks needed to be updated.

Those tracks are now being released for PCars 2.

No. Most, if not all, will be released in pCARS1.

Just to clarify, that is the full track list at release, but that is not the final track list.

Historic Monza (without the oval)
Historic Silverstone
Rouen
Mugello
Handful of partially started ovals

The historic tracks will be coming back when the assets can be updated. Most of those were pulled from other/older projects. The ovals will be finished and be part of the IndyCar DLC.

And in July we have our first track pack DLC, So it might either be Historic race tracks or the Oval/Nascar/indycars DLC.

Might also be some other tracks. Hard to tell, but from those tracks that needed an update or where unfinished, those 2 packs are best candidates.

Can somone please comfirm if I saw right. Some Track packs will come inclusive with new cars?
