DLC and career mode

Do any of the current DLC add new championships or invitationals to the career mode? For now this is where I'd like to spend most of my time, so I want to prioritize DLC that expands it.

The DLC appears in the Career mode in the form of invitational events. Basically once you buy the DLC and load your career save your inbox will get blasted for invites to race the DLC cars as I don't think you need to earn the invites like normal if its DLC related.

In addition to that some DLC cars (like Bentley GT3 for example) should be available in GT3 championships. Other, which o not belong to class which have championships will only be available i their event.

quick question how do i race the invitationals ? i have them, but i cant do anyhting with it (non-dlc)
second: how will lets say, the japanese car pack appear in the game ?

Once you get to the date the invitational takes place on it will be available in your calendar.

If you buy Japanese car pack you will get all the cars in that pack - will be available to choose from in all modes. In addition to that you will get additional invitationals related to those cars. I believe that LMP1 Toyota is also available to choose in LMP1 championships and Le Mans

Normal Invitationals will unlock when you complete other objectives. You can check in your profile page under the invitationals section, locked ones will tell you what other event you need to win first. Normally they'll be events like winning each regional title in each discipline, or winning a previously unlocked invitational. So for the most part they'll unlock naturally just by keeping your racing diverse, I.E don't only race in a single discipline over and over again unless you're aiming for the hall of fame objective of holding a title 3 years in a row.
As for the Japnese car pack im not sure if there are invitationals, or at least I haven't seen them, as there wasn't a new track added and all the cars can be found in already existing disciplines, so there doesn't need to be a invitational to experience everything the pack has to offer.
