Settings changes doesn't save
Hi All,
I bought this Project Cars but I have a problem with it...
I change settings and once I go out and back to the game the settings doesn't save!

it can be video settings or other settings.
For example I change video settings and the game tells me to restart the game in order to update the new settings, I restart the game and the settings are the same as was before.
Another example - I wanted to put the game in window-mode so I can change the wheel's settings easily according to things I find online and again, I restart it and it's back in non-window mode.

I tried to find how to contact SlightlyMad for support but can't find it...
Hope you can help with these issues (the settings and the SlightlyMad support)

That is very dissapointing since I just bought this game and can play it yet because I'm not gonna change all these settings each time I start the game...

Thanks in advance!
Golan

I've tested a little more an I saw that Control settings (like Key Bindings) does save.
Maybe it's only video settings that doesn't save.
Maybe it has something to do with the AMD Gaming Evolved App that is installed on my machine?
Does anybody have any idea?

AMD Gaming Evolved is the cause of many problems/loading crashes for pcars users. Wouldn't be surprised if it also stops graphic settings to save since it can apply it's "optimized" settings.
Could be something else of course but might be a place to start by deinstalling/disabling it.

I uninstalled AMD Gaming Evolved and restarted and still Visual settings doesn't save.
It's a freshly clean (yesterday) installed Windows 10 and nothing installed besides Steam, Display Drivers and this AMD Gaming Evolved app which kinda pushed itself in...
Any other ideas?
Any way to contact the Steam/SlightlyMad support to solve this issue?

Thanks for your help!

The Official Forum is here: http://forum.projectcarsgame.com/

Without knowing how User Accounts in Win 10 work i suspect the game somehow doesn't get writing privileges for My Documents/Project Cars
The key bindings f.e. are all in the profile in the steam library so not affected.
Maybe just try running the game as administrator.

actually - I can't see any "My Documents/Project Cars" folder.
What does it mean?

I tried running as Admin and it didn't help...

Seems it can't even create the graphicsconfig.xml
Still use Win7 here so no clue how to change that.

If you havn't already done so sort your operating system so that you have full aministrator rights. Also make sure project cars is in the exclusion list of windows defender. Turn user account control (UAC) off as well. For all the above google is your friend.

Problem Solved guys! and it wasn't any of these stuff...
In windows 10 OneDrive for some reason (who knows why) is the default location for saving My Documents files, and for some reason it had problems syncing/saving new files there.
Therefore it couldn't save the configuration files and it always was reset.

Thanks for your help!
