Probably no. Microsoft and Sony don't allow it. There are a few exceptions, but even then it didn't allow console/console cross platform play, only console/PC cross platform. This isn't really up to the developers.

Umm, you sure about that? I know for a fact PS3 had some cross platform multiplayer games. Wouldn't be surprised if Microsoft makes it difficult to do though.

It's already been stated. There will be no cross platform multiplayer.
