Project Cars changing windows desktop background

This stupid game is just WAY OUT THERE! I wanna slap the DEV's in the face! This game is a huge let down and nothing but hype hype hype! I have ran into some really annoying glitches and issues with some games in the past but this one takes the cake! The game ALWAYS changes my desktop background to default or something. Each time I launch the game I get that windows double ding noise and the back ground changes as soon as the game is launched. How stupid is that?

Save the theme.

It is very stupid. I also had this but as Ibby suggests saving the theme does solve it. Daft you need to do it though.

Lord have mercy! You guys were right! Thank you so very much! I still get the windows Notification that its chaning something but the background now stays the same. Another thing I have noticed is the mouse cursor will vanish when you select "pointer trails" in the control panel. All of this to say that this game should not be chaning anything with my desktop setup to begin with.

Yeah why does it always choose one specific background image, I've never saved a theme since installing windows 10, and any game taking over that much control of my PC will never get a good recommendation from me.
