Project Cars turns wheel itself?
As in title I just got my 1st wheel (Thrustmaster T150) and in situations where it feels like car loses traction the wheel just turns hard making it very hard to try and recover. Not sure if this is due to feedback or due to game itself or maybe it is how it is supposed to be, but honestly I did better with a controller because I could actually try and at least fix mistakes, here it is impossible.

Firstly if you have not made any changes to FFB:

Main menu > Options & Help > Controls > Calibrate ForceFeedback

Scroll to the bottom - if Steering Gain is set to 200 change it to 100 and try again.

Should now already be a lot better.

If not happy yet...

Still a fair few improvementscan be made though...

1. Jack spade Files:

2. Settings for various wheels:

Well, it sort of makes sense if you've lost control but at the same time FFB in Project CARS has always been one of its weakier aspects.

I haven't driven with my G27 in a while since I switched to a 360 pad instead, but you might wanna try Jack Spade's FFB settings if you haven't do so already. A simple google search and you should find it.

I found that using his setups as a template(I used the extra bumpty one, I like to feel all the bumps so I know where I am on the track) and modified it as I needed. :happy_creep:

Will try later because right now Windows 10 is being it's typical self and Won't connect to the internet (typing from phone). Though thanks so much for taking your time and providing help, hope the setting will fix my issues.

If you're sliding to one side then the front wheels will align themselves to that side due to self aligning torque and caster, turning the steering wheel at the same time. If this is what you're feeling, then yes, that's how it's supposed to work.
