Jack Spade tweaker files still required for latest PC version with "classic" & "default" FFB?

I've been reading plenty threads about how Jack Spade's tweaker files make a huge difference in feel for wheel players. However all these posts are dated way back to 2015. So I'm not too sure whether should I tweak with my current in game ffb settings which has "classic"(feels just nice for me) or "default"(way too strong with loads of clipping) and use Jack's files? Would it make any discernible difference? Please advise

Classic and jacks files are the starting point. After that refine ffb by looking up your wheel here and follow recommended settings:
