So I have some international flights coming up, and I'm looking for more games to put on my steamdeck.

I've heard that D4 has a pretty good version of a necromancer/pet class archetype, so I'm wondering, does D4 have any form of real offline (on a plane, not paying $30 for a top speed of 1kbit/second) yet? When I search "Diablo 4 offline" I only find posts saying it doesn't have an offline mode, but these posts I'm seeing are all well over a year old.

Last Epoch/Grim Dawn both have pretty good necro characters and both offline.

The hell are you talking about, i've been playing D3 offline since it came out, you can play that entire game offline on any console, it has a dedicated offline mode just like D@ remastered

I already have 330 hours in Grim Dawn so that recommendation doesn't count :P

Honestly I feel like I've pretty exhausted the content from Grim Dawn, as the few things I haven't touched are too much effort for the payoff from my perspective. I'll replay it again when they launch the next DLC, but not at the moment.

I ended up mostly playing Zephon on my flights (4x tiled strategy game from the same devs as 40k Gladius).

Maybe check out No Rest for the Wicked. It's getting released or updated end of month. Currently on sale. No idea about offline, but there's a chance!
