New player - Should I ignore dungeons/ side quests and do campaign first?
Should I ignore dungeons/ side quests and do campaign first?

Currently, i'm level 11. I'm in the campaign exploring every inch of every map.
I find trees and rocks to click on, just so I don't miss anything. It's pretty boring.

I do dungeons/ events if i'm nearby to them on way to next step of campaign but am I wasting my time? Do they despawn forever?

you dont have to explore everything, you can play campaign as fast as you want

events completed spawn agin after some time, they are optional activity but again nothing necessary

If you're having fun then keep doing what you're doing. If not, then get on with the story quests to reach the end game as soon as possible for more efficient levelling.

You will want to get all the Lillith statues as they grant you some nice bonuses that carry over between characters.

I did that when I tried D4 the first time and I also found it pretty boring. Now when season 4 dropped, I just focused hard on the campaign and unlocking waypoints and ignored everything else (only grabbed the Lilith statues I came across). I've beaten the campaign and now I'm doing sidequests, dungeons and grabbing the statues I missed (and jumping into seasonal content and such as well).
I'm enjoying the game much more now compared to my first try, so maybe it could work for you as well? Could also be that the game is just not your jam.

New player as well.

After searching for a while it seems the game locks your XP progression at level 50 if you don't to world tier 3 and to do that you have to finish the campaign first, if you do everything you'll be at 50 for a while which will result in lost XP.

If that matters then just focus on the story for now and do everything else afterwards.

if you want to see the story then do the campaign! if not play enough of the game to unlock the skip the campaign option on character creation. Either way you will end up were everyone els is after you finish it. So you might as well finish the story then on you're next character just skip campaign.

Stick to the main stories and side quests. Skip open world events unless you're just in the mood to do them, it's all that the endgame is besides redoing the same dungeons as "nightmare." The campaign itself is excellent but yeah playing through the world itself can be very boring. It's all the same stuff.

It doesn't lock, but it gets slower with every level, because scaling in WT2 ends and you overlevel more and more.

Keep in mind rushing to end the campaign then move to tier 3, you get a hit of -25% to your resistances, and every mob hit a bit harder so you might end up dying often when surrounded by packs.
Take your time enjoy the journey.

Do the campaign, find all the Lilith's. Get your bonus paragons.

To find all Lilith statues, just google for a map with them. They are hard to find without one. You also only need to do this once now.

But take your time with the campaign.

I am doing everything, every tiny little side quest, but maybe I will change my tactics and complete the campaign if the side quest never go away.

I've recently got to level 30 and i'm thinking that if we dont complete the campaign we'll be capped at level 50 until we can upgrade to world tier 3

Finish the campaign as soon as possible. This takes #1 priority.
If you do everything you will hit level 50 mid act 2, if not earlier now that leveling is faster.
And then you are stuck with level 50 monsters outside of strongholds until you do unlock Tier 3.
