Gotten bored of my Druid, what class should I play next?
I finally finished the story this week, then explored the world to get Tier 3 Realm Rewards (10 skill points + 5 potions) for every region. However, I don't feel like jumping directly into the endgame with my Druid, and want to try a different character, or at least a different aspect (played through the game as a Storm Druid).

The reason I'm making a thread is I can't decide which class; I have mild interest in all of them, but strong interest in none of them. My character ideas are Arms Barbarian, Fire or Lightning Sorcerer, Minion Necromancer, or Trap Rogue. Which of those builds is the strongest in the current meta (Eternal, not Seasonal)?

Barbarian is basically a better designed druid. Do Barb and you won't go back.

I think technically bash/Tornado barb is the strongest, but minion necro is damn good too right now. It's what I played first this season, and I literally laughed out loud at one point giggling like a schoolgirl over how fun it was to constantly corpse explode waves of enemies spawning in around me during one of those events. That almost never happens. That moment alone kept me playing the game lol. And now my necro is 100 and quite strong, but it's all little improvements from this point on, like finding one better affix on different pieces of gear and masterworking. So I'm playing a storm druid now lol. Pretty fun as well.

Playing a Storm-Werewolf hybrid Druid here too, and having a blast. Have my Wolves be Werewolves, and have one additional companion thanks to items.

And have Werewolf be my true form thanks to Unique item. Have another Unique item that makes my Boulders turn around in my Hurricane, and have Storm skills have a chance to trigger Earth skills, and vice-versa.

Lightning Storm as my main attack, and Cataclysm as my Ultimate.

It's mainly caster Druid. I started with Shapeshifting melee at first early, but found it to be a bit boring after having played a Barb in Season 3. So I changed course for my build not long after.
Alright then, I'll think I'll make a Minion Necromancer, since they seem strong in the current meta. Sending a bunch of trash summons at the enemy while sitting in the back is a guilty pleasure of mine.

Nice. Yeah I use that unique chest that makes werewolf true form too, I love it. Also doing caster storm druid. But I went with hunters zenith and trample as my resource generator. That way I can just fly through NM dungeons by using a free 0 cooldown trample that gives me 40? Maybe 50 resource, everytime I run low. Combined with Paragons n stuff, I never run out of mana. Unfortunately the ring doesn't help with bosses, so I have wind shear just for boss fights. I do want to find a way to keep my mana up during boss fights so i dont have to use basic attack ever. Kinda looking for spirit per second on a couple items. Currently level 90, doing tier 70 NM dungeons. Fun stuff. I like it more than my necro, even if necro is stronger.

Nice. Basic Skills hit like wet noodles don't they? Even if you max them out and use Topaz in weapons to increase Basic Attacks DMG%, they're all pretty weak.

It's always nice to have other skills boost the Spirit/Mana/Fury instead. So good thinking on your part.

Eternal? Probably Minion Necromancer, since I think all the class changes that came with "Loot Reborn" have also been migrated to Eternal.

Rogue is awesome. I just hit 1400% vulnerability dmg and soon have shako (2 more iron wolves rep lvl on my afk iron maiden necro and I can craft it). Time to push to pit 140-150 then. 120 currently.

I would recommend a different game to be honest. It's the game that is boring, not the class.
