Best Graphics Settings for Diablo 4 on Steam Deck

Hi everyone,

I’m starting the campaign in Diablo 4 on my Steam Deck and looking for advice on the best graphics settings. My goal is to achieve the best possible visuals while maintaining a playable frame rate of around 40 FPS (or even 30 FPS if needed).

For context, I’ve been playing Path of Exile 2 on the Deck, and while the first two locations are playable, the performance completely falls apart in areas like the Hunting Grounds. I’m stuck at around 20 FPS, and the visuals are so bad it feels like I squeezed soup into my eyes before playing. 😅

I’ve also searched a lot on Reddit for recommended settings, but most posts focus on endgame scenarios with large mobs and hordes—not the campaign. Since I’m just starting out, I’d like to focus on maximizing graphic quality for the earlier parts of the game, where the action isn’t as intense.

Later on, when I progress to the late game, I’ll tweak the settings as needed. For now, does anyone have recommended settings specifically for the campaign on the Steam Deck LCD?

I can check later, but I basically play this game solely on the LCD Deck. All of the settings I have somewhere in the middle, except for textures which I have on high.
Deck is set to TDP 11 and I limit the refresh rate to 30 hz/fps.
I play all of the games on 30fps to save the deck/battery and avoid the fan going on 100% and I got so used to it, that I am absolutely satisfied and comfortable with 30 fps.
