Torment 2 and higher
I'm feeling a bit stuck on Torment 2. Am I missing some kind of trick to getting stronger, or is it just grinding the Pit and Masterworking?

When I was at Torment 1 I was overpowered and I didn't feel like i was making much progression. But switching to Torment 2 has been a big jump in difficulty. Maybe it's just my build, but like I said, I was overpowered before. I have about 200 paragon points and while my masterworking isnt at 100% they aren't bad.

Just asking if I'm missing something obvious. I don't think so, but grinding can only be fun if it feels like you are actually getting something for it.

I've stuck in the beginning because I've followed a build from popular web site / creator. Apparently it was based on the test realm results. First, I've changed paragon boards and it allowed me to go for higher Torment easily. Then I've farmed equipment for a different build which turned out to be 2+ times more DPS-y :lunar2019piginablanket:

Also Yen's boots with GA on resist-all is practically mandatory to go past Torment 2 unless you are ready to lose 3 DPS affixes to resists on the equipment :lunar2019shockedpig:

There are also other items that give similar amounts of resists.
Yen's isn't mandatory, and never was, and never will be.
Never used it, and started from difficulty 4 till torment 3 for most content, also not using any of the meta builds.
Just using thorns + poison ultimate + armor to dmg.

At the moment using rakanoth's boosts, would replace it out with legendary items that have their own all resist, don't care about the evade charge amount, need to be able to evade whenever I want as fast as I want.
Also trying out chance to do aoe thorns instead of stomp from block.

Honestly I just went back down to Torment 1 and started farming bosses and have already made a big difference in my gear. From what I hear there isn't much value in the higher levels than difficulty. Maybe the drop percentages change a bit, but meh
The drop percentages are the same in all torments tiers, only change the higher the tier, you'll get more drops.

They have turned this game to be a new diablo 3 and there is a huge difference with the level of your gliphs.
I finally made it to Torment 3 with 2 friends yesterday, it was a lot of farming/grind of obducite to upgrade gear and pit levels to upgrade glyphs, i have 3 glyphs level 46 ( a forth one near lvl 46) Barbarian 227 Paragon.

Edit : But i find Torment 3 too difficult, in Nightmare dungeons and the dungeon with 6-8-10 waves, we get killed. So i did return playing Torment 2.

I'm playing in T3 and the only difference i see with T1-T2 is the exp.
Honestly I've been having more fun at T1. Death is frustrating (ha). I've been trying to strengthen with boss runs and running the Pit. That's helping, it is a bit of a grind though.
