Solo Campaign, but other players fighting with me?
I thought when play solo campaign you might see others but they can't join your quest or fights directly or take your wins? I was fighting a boss in lower left corner of campaign Act 3 and this player just joins my fight, kills them picks something up and left.... my guess he took my prize. How is this possible? Note I am just playing the Gold Acts and blue side missions, no other aspect of the game.... have not finished the campaign yet. Or are these developer players just helping out or something (special access).... it showed name and 60 (assume level). I am at 51 right now.....

if you were fighting a realm walker, or world boss they are both made so that anybody can come along and fight it and you don't see loot that drops for them and they don't see what drops for you and can't pick it up as your loot is not on their screen.

If you see other players kill what you are fighting, each player gets their own rewards, as I said, you can't see what drops for them and you can't pick up theirs and they can't pick up yours.

Developer players as in they work for Blizzard and are running around helping players, not likely, not likely at all in fact I would imagine if that were true, you better go buy a lottery ticket as the chances of something like that happening id pretty close to incalculable.

The other thing, is that if your not grouped up but go into an instanced area like a cave they can't join you, they would get their own instance so I would assume you saw a player above ground that attacked your enemy and picked up it's own loot and then went on their way as the game is designed.

Yes, never seen happen in cave or dungeon..... and one guy seems like he was following me around, I would turn, make mistake go other direction to next boss and the person also followed me through a series of bosses ..... perhaps that quest allowed multiple people because they were harder bosses then. So sometimes they can help for specific type of bosses .... ok that is fine. I was concerned it they picked up an element I needed in a quest to continue and did not want to get locked out - but all good based on what you said. Just was wondering why this person kept following my character around on the board. All good, I am in final ACT and final part of that , level 54 now.

I really like using the snow storm at highest level , incredible damage and slows them, double win, which I follow up with meteor or fireball.... the mage can do incredible damage. Then the large snake for bosses to knock them down some - really liking the game play. And I use one of the first skills maxed out to slash once frozen to quickly fill my mana ..... repeat and rinse. I want to play Druid next..... TBD. Thanks

I've had some clowns follow me while playing just constantly having their characters saying "Hello" as they follow me around the game, I had one joker that did it for about 15 minutes while standing in Kyovishad until I responded Hello back then he finally buzzed off, maybe to go bother somebody else.

The one that I find fun is the Meteor. I often find +4 to +6 to meteor skills, so I've got a few characters with 11/5 meteor skills which is a blast to use or even better with any item that has a plus number to incinerate though the highest I think I've had was a +4 to incinerate so I get a 9/5 incinerate and buff it up with tempering to make it larger and or even higher damage with + core tempering, since it's my most used skill it kicks a lot of butt when you get that and then build up your damage through other items fire damage and paragon points. Also find items that can add extra meteorites (usually 3) to each use and my favorite one is the tempering or occultist (can never remember which) that allows you to use the meteorites up to 3 times with no mana cost and a 10 second cool down, then found the same thing but it had a reduced cool down to only 4.5 seconds, that sorceress kicks serious butts and can pretty much stand in one place firing off 3 meteorite skills, wait 4,5 seconds while using a buffed incinerate then go fire off 3 more meteorite blasts, then repeat until mob boss is dead all the while with enhanced mana regeneration never seeing my mana ball go down more than literally a sliver of the total ball and just bounce down a sliver and it immediately gains it back.

My sorceress is a character that I go against the common norm and never put any points into teleport, I just try to beef up my defense enough so that only the oddball one hit wonder mob units can kill me with one hit which I take as a bug since their not a boss, but do far more damage to the player than a normal elite mob unit normally does.
