Question*: enemy scaling
I havent played Diablo 4 yet but will the scaling make leveling feel weak and pointless??? I would very much prefer to turn off such a feature.

There's quasi scaling in a game. Not everything scales to your level.
- Most overworld map things do scale,
( but there are still places you might be underleveled to clear ex. strongholds. If you try to
clear them very underleveled you'll have your azz handled to you - been there. )
- Capstone dungeons do not scale,
( if you have build good enough you can advance to higher tier faster, otherwise you need level up a bit further if you can't handle the dungeon )
- Nightmare dungeons do not scale,
( tier of key you open the dungeon affect level of monsters you'll be fighting in )
- Endgame bosses do not scale

Overall I'm not a fan of level scaling because on paper it means you're always strong enough to kill enemies and not strong enough to feel really powerful but that's the scenario if scaling is done badly.
There are many things D4 is doing bad but enemy scaling isn't one of the bad ones. Leveling feels good, you constantly have character power checks here and there like strongholds, like capstone dungeons, like nightmare dungeons.
Also if you're able to beat capstone dungeon earlier, monsters from higher tier world won't be scaled to your underleveled character so you'll have better drops but also have harder fights.

If the opposite would be being tied to specific map regions at very specific levels until you hit max level - that could feel much worse.
I got favorite regions and regions I prefer to avoid on overworld map. Level scaling let me to find leveling activities in regions I find more appealing to me instead of force me to play same regions-jumping-tango every single character. I personally prefer it that way.
